Luxury Line of Cold-Process Soap Coming Soon
Updated: Jun 8, 2021
I have started experimenting with different oils to make more of a luxurious and creamy soap. The oils I currently use are mainly Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, sustainably sourced Palm Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, and Castor Oil. For starters, I would like to introduce Raw Cocoa Butter and Shea Butter to my soaps. You will always be able to see everything I used in the soap by going to the "ingredients" section of each soap you click on.
Shea Butter is one of the top ingredients included in cosmetics today. Shea Butter is loaded with natural vitamins (A, E & F) and antioxidants. In it's raw state, Shea Butter is often used for smoothing wrinkles, sun protection, scar prevention, eczema, skin allergies, insect bites, and as a hair product that adds moisture and sheen.
Cocoa Butter adds firmness, conditioning and moisture to the bars. Due to its moisturizing abilities, cocoa butter makes a great addition to leave-on body products. Because of its hard texture, cocoa butter is perfect for creating thick-textured body butters and creams.
Since soap has a "cure" time of 4 to 6 weeks, I want to begin this luxury line of soaps (as an option and in addition to the current oils I use) in some of the fall 2021 soaps I make.
If you like the idea of a luxury line of soaps, please let me know by posting a response to this blog. Happy shopping!!
